BLOG Hello and welcome to my blog :-) 9th March 2010 I had an amazing time with my relations on the weekend. They actualy enjoyed my Ukulele playing and singing. I was encouraged to sing many jaunty uke songs for them to singalong with and cheer. It inspired me to learn some more songs and one day sing at a nice pub or cafe to cheer up people in a way only a uke can do. It's easy to play and fun to enjoy. What I found most delightful were the original building instructions. I am planning to scan them for a Tribute Lego webpage so we can build and remember the toys that gave us so much pleasure all that time ago. I remember building this one in the picutre :-) 7-3-10 It's been some months since my transition to the six pack stomach. Now it's looking a little soft as the bodybuilders say. So now I have decided to go back to the gym and rebuild my body. I noticed how much better I slept and had a lot more energy while I was training. I must remember the big three... Eating, Sleeping, exercise. Keep these in balance and life is easy. It was a lot of fun and plenty of guest came along in dress up. There were plenty of nuns and more than a few sheep and children in curtains. Every one sung and a wonderful time! Subiaco seemed very busy on the Saturday night and the fashions were hot and ready for action. Back "Email Jon right now" Recently we had the Police Commissioner phone in to update us on the Schoolies of Rottnest Island. We had a good talk and I suggested one of the main problems was the students simply had too much money. Wish I had the spare cash to visit Rottnest and stay overnight!

We had the pleasure of talking to Christopher Timothy early Sunday morning and discovered all his adventures making the hit TV show. Did you know he was offered the part of Tristan and said no, it's James Herriot or nothing... they gave him the part! Chrisopher was a charming fellow to talk with and it's good to know "All Creatures Great and Small" is now available on DVD in a three pack!!
The good news is now Jon Lewis is photographer about town. Next time a fellow asks if you would like to be photographed, say yes, because it might be your friend and mine... Jon Lewis.
Have a look at some of the photos here...

Today I had the good fortune to spend some time on the big boat with other media from around the world viewing the Monsoon Cup. I had no idea how remarkable the sailors are with coordination and wind reading skills. These boats really move and turn on a dime! I had the other good fortune to interview the entire American crew, did I mention they are the only all girl crew? Find out more at the Monsoon Cup website in Malaysia. (Click Here)
I also spent some time in the same Helicopter that the Sultan uses!
Hello today while taking a break at the "Monsoon Cup" media centre in Terengganu Malaysia we took a spin in the Sultans Helicopter and check out the local sights! Woooooooooo.... excellent! You gotta try it! Captain Hussan was a charming pilot and I got to ride as co-pilot, much to the terror of our fellow passengers. The sights from that height were truly enchanting and certainly being in a helicopter made it even better! (Photo of Me, Julia from the Oriental Post WA, Neil from the Sunday Times)
I also made an apperance in the Newspaper (New Straits Times) with Jenni from HaveAGo News! (Click Here)

Today while filming a special "Time with Jon" I discovered a German round the world sailor who is single handedly rediscovering the ancient art of boat building without nails or glue. I also enjoyed a traditional Malaysian Tea, yum! This is while joining in the fun of the "Monsoon Cup". The photos shows the boats looking great! Ah... so nice...
Today I am in Terrangganu for the Monsoon Cup with lots of high seas sailing action! It is warm and exciting and soon I will have more to report! Oh yeah, Terrangganu is in Malaysia! (Truly Asia!)

Hey I have just spent a week in the jungles of Malaysia and I discovered many things! One thing is I was certainly not cut out for a life in the jungle at all! Hard to get good coffee and milk is difficutlt to find also! We are filming a holiday documentary and you will laugh at how comfortable I appear to be in heat of the jungle. Once you get over the culture shock it truely is a great place to be! Now it's time to kick back in KL and drink coctails!
Wow what a great night we had at the Embassy Ballroom for the "Winter Carnival 2005". The dancers we colorful and vibrant, featuring so many different cultures and styles. Every dance told a story and shared an experience. The TV cameras of TeleLatina were there too along with many happy people ready to party. You know it was really nice to see the children there too! Thank you LACA (Latin American Cultural Association)
Thanks to Farshad for this great flashing Jon Lewis logo, how smart is Farshad!!
Recently I had the pleasure of being judge at the Hyde Park Hotel, for their Karaoke Contest. I was among the company of some well-respected musicians and entertainers as we battled to decided who was the best singer. A charming girl from somewhere in the south of WA was deemed by all to be the best and boy could she sing. I want to buy her CDs when she makes some!
Also Peter from Canada sent through some exciting photos of the weather, here's one for you to wonder at!
We had a fab time at the "Tango Ball 2005". Everyone was dressed up in their finest Tango clothing, really looking the part! I had the pleasure to be compere once agian and enjoyed the many excellent performances. I should say the dinner was so lovely!!! Try Tango dancing, you might like it?...
I have been very busy editing and producing my new TV show ?on on Community? and it? proving to be a lot of fun. I have become quite a fast editor and quickly learning a few tricks of the trade!
We have interviewed so many interesting people, like the ?ater Walkers? of Armadale and an inspiring story about a gentleman who is wheel chair bound, yet can walk in the water. Imagine, that!
Nozomi Miyanishi featured on my new TV show playing the ancient instrument the Koto. She delighted us with popular songs as well as traditional and some of her own compostitions."Jon on Community" only on Access 31 TV, Fridays at 6pm.
We had a fantastic time at the Fremantle Passenger Terminal on Saturday night for the "Smoke Free WA Latin Extravaganza 2004". It was a huge success with around 900 people all getting on down, dancing, drinking and eating! Every one was well behaved and the floor show was excellent. My blue suit made a reappearance as I compered the night. Thanks to Paul at Brittons Formal Hire in Hay Street!
We had the pleasure of talking with three time Canadian Champ Johanna Dejager. Lot's of emails and great talk back calls to Johanna revealed many excellent health tips, suggestions on how to keep focused, funny stories and how to build muscle in a natural way. Find out more at http://www.jonlewislive.com/johanna dejager.html
The big Quiz Night on Saturday to help save the Orangutans was a huge success, raising lots of money. Every one had fun answering the easy questions and we were surprised at how many bananas there were! However our closest living relation with less than three percent DNA difference from us might be extinct in only five years...
